To check whether a housing society is approved in Pakistan, look it up on the development authority's own published list. Pakizzle reads the lists of 7 authorities (LDA, RDA, CDA, SBCA, QDA, Gwadar DA and PDA), 2,032 rows in all, last read on 26 Oct 2026, and quotes each one word for word with its link and date. Pakizzle never gives its own verdict.

How to confirm before you pay
- Open the authority's list from the link on the card and find the society's name yourself. Check the phase or block too.
- Confirm with the authority directly, on its website or at its office. Where no list is published, ask the Deputy Commissioner's office or the TMA.
- Ask the seller for the society's approval or NOC reference and the plot's allotment or transfer papers, and check them with the society office.
- Only pay token money once the papers match the seller's CNIC and the property. Pay by bank transfer and keep the receipt.
